Oliver Dyer’s Appliance is a family-owned and operated appliance and service store that has been in business for more than 70 years. The business started when Oliver Dyer’s parents first opened their doors in 1945. Then, Dyer’s Automatic Washing Machine Repair was strictly a repair shop. He remembers playing at the store and hanging out as a child. “It’s the only thing I have done for 46 years. I worked here before going to college and have been here full time since the 1970s,” said Oliver. It was then that Dyer’s Automatic Washing Machine Repair went through some changes and began offering a sales department that started by selling a line of Maytag products, and now sells a full line of appliances from all the major brands.
